Inspections to ensure a good hydraulic hammer maintenance

An appropriate and continuous maintenance through periodic inspections is recommended to guarantee longer efficiency and performance of the hammer. This periodic maintenance reduces the cost of replacing wear parts, preventing breakage or significant damage and prolonged downtime.

How to correctly grease
your Hydraulic Hammer

In order to guarantee the efficiency and productivity of your Hydraulic Breaker over time it is essential to keep the bushings and the tool in the best conditions.
This is why it is so important to grease manually every two hours the sliding area between tool and bushings, unless you have an Automatic Greasing System installed.
During these operations, the hammer must be kept in a vertical position and pressed downwards: in this way the tool is pushed all the way down preventing grease from penetrating into the impact zone between the tool and the piston.
