This information is effective from the date of publication on the website, i.e. 25 May 2018.
What are Cookies?
Cookies is data created by a server that is stored in text files on the hard disk of your computer and allows the operation of this website, the use of a specific function explicitly requested by the user, or allow improving the operation of this website, such as cookies that make browsing faster or show the contents of greater interest to the user according to the previous choices. Cookies may be permanent (persistent cookies), but may also have a limited duration (session cookies). This website uses both persistent and session cookies. Session cookies are not stored permanently on your computer and disappear when the browser is closed. Persistent cookies are used to customize browsing according to the instrument used by the user (computer, tablet, smartphone) as well as third-party cookies that are used to analyze website accesses (ex. Google Analytics) and to allow users to share the content of the website through social networks (FB) or e-mail (Add This). These cookies are stored permanently on your computer and have a variable duration.
Types of cookies
Italian legislation (article 122 of Legislative Decree 196/03 Personal Data Protection Code hereinafter referred to as Code for brevity) introduced in our system EU Directive 2009/136/EC, which requires managers of websites that use cookies or other monitoring technologies to inform users about the types of cookies used by the website.
The Provision of the Guarantor for the protection of personal data no. 229 of 8 May 2014, published in OJ no. 126 of 3 June 2014, has categorized cookies into two macro-categories: technical cookies and profiling cookies.
Technical cookies, normally installed by the Data Controller or website manager, have the purpose of sending communication over an electronic communication network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service (see article 122, paragraph 1 of the Privacy Code).
For the installation of technical cookies, prior consent of users is not required.
Technical cookies are further subdivided into:
Browsing or session cookies, which guarantee normal browsing and use of the website, allowing, for example, to make a purchase or for authentication to access restricted areas. These cookies are not stored permanently on the device used by the user and are deactivated automatically when the browser is closed. Their use is linked to the transmission of identification data necessary to allow safe and efficient browsing on pages. Session cookies do not allow in any way the acquisition of personal identification data of users.
Analytics cookies, used to collect information on the use of the website, anonymously and to obtain both a statistical analysis of the pages displayed and the behaviour of users. This anonymous analysis provides information and suggestions to improve the quality of the website and to make easily accessible the contents that are most sought-after and interesting for users. Analytics cookies can be sent either from the website, or from third-party domains and do not allow in any way the acquisition of personal identification data of users. Analytics cookies, if installed by third parties (ex. Google analytics), even if they collect data in anonymous form, are similar to profiling cookies, as indicated by the Guarantor for the protection of personal data.
Functionality cookies: similar to technical cookies where used directly by the website manager to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and on how they visit the website. These cookies allow users to browse as a function of a series of selected criteria (such as language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered to the same.
Profiling cookies have the purpose of creating user profiles and are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the same in the context of browsing the net. These cookies are particularly invasive in the private sphere of users. For this reason, European and Italian legislation requires users to be adequately informed about the use of the same and be able to express their consent. Article 122 of the Privacy Code, whereby it states that “the storage of information in the terminal device of a contracting party or a user or access to information already filed is permitted only on condition that the contracting party or user has expressed consent after being informed of the simplified procedures referred to in article 13 of the Privacy Code, paragraph 3′′ (article 122, paragraph 1 of the Code).
In the same Provision, the Guarantor has also categorized cookies depending on the party that operates as the Controller of the processing of personal data collected by the cookie, distinguishing between first-party cookies and third-party cookies.
First-party cookies
They are cookies managed by the website owner. For these cookies, the obligation of the policy is the responsibility of the website owner. It is also the responsibility of the latter to specify the methods for blocking the cookie.
Third-party cookies
They are cookies managed by a third party other than the website owner. For these cookies, the obligation of the policy and the indication of how to block the cookie is the responsibility of the third party, while the website owner is obliged to include on the website the link to the third-party website where such elements are available.
In both types of cookies (first-party or third-party) the collection of consent, necessary if the cookie is a profiling cookie, is done through a special banner on the home page of the website. Types of cookies used in our website
The website www.promovedemolition.com uses technical cookies, which can be used without requesting the consent of the party concerned, since they are strictly necessary for the provision of the service. Furthermore, use may be made of third-party profiling cookies the use of which is subject to the consent directly given to such third parties accessing the relevant information on the use of cookies. Profiling cookies can be used by the Controller of the processing or by the owner of the cookie itself, to memorize the choices made by the party concerned, to provide personalized or optimized functionalities or to memorize personal habits and preferences expressed during browsing. For example, profiling cookies can be used to offer the party concerned online services, to send advertisements that take personal interests into account or to avoid offering services that have been refused in the past.
The next section of this Cookie Policy provides a detailed list of all cookies used by this website.
The first group lists technical cookies the use of which does not require the user’s consent. The second group lists profiling cookies.
