Tool and Lower bushing inspection

December 10, 2020

The internal diameter of the lower and upper wear bushings (for models that feature it) and the tool wear must be checked approximately every six months. If the inner diameter of the bushings has increased or the outer diameter of the tool has decreased (due to wear) beyond the admissible limit, the components must be replaced. These values can be found in the technical data sheets of the breaker and in the operating and maintenance instructions.
This video shows how to check the wear of those components.
