Nitrogen check and recharge on Promove Breakers

December 10, 2020

The low-pressure nitrogen chamber is located in the head of the hammer and must be checked frequently to keep the efficiency of the hammer high.
The optimal pressure value can be found in the technical specifications of the breaker in the Operating and Maintenance Instructions.
All Promove breakers are supplied with a Promove Service Box which includes the manometer needed to check the nitrogen level. It has to be connected to the gas valve, generally located in the front part of the hammer or eventually on the right side accessible through a slot made on the casing.
This video shows how to check the nitrogen pressure.
